About Zero-tours
Zero-Tours was one of the few games released for the Game Boy Advance in 2000, a year when the handheld was just beginning to establish its library. I don't recall the developer's name, but it arrived quietly, a small adventure among the early platformers and ports. It felt like a product of that experimental period, a game trying to find its place before the GBA's more famous titles took over.
You control a lone explorer navigating a fragmented, screen by screen world. Your main goal is to restore light to a central tower by finding and placing several keystones. Movement is deliberate; you push blocks to create paths, use a limited-use lantern to reveal hidden platforms in dark rooms, and sometimes redirect beams of light with mirrors to solve environmental puzzles. The game is slow and methodical, demanding careful observation more than quick reflexes. It creates a quiet, almost lonely feeling as you piece the world back together one solved screen at a time.
