ZatchBell! Electric Arena came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, a time when the handheld was full of anime based fighters. It was published by Banpresto, a company known for its work on other licensed titles. This game fits right into that mid 2000s era where you could expect a fighting game for just about any popular shonen series.
You control one of many characters from the Zatch Bell manga and anime, battling it out in one on one fights. The main goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar before they do the same to you. Signature mechanics include a spell system where you input specific button combinations to cast powerful attacks, and a partner system where your chosen mamodo works with a human companion.
