Play Yu Yu Hakusho - Spirit Detective (e)(rising Sun) Online

I picked up Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective on the Game Boy Advance back in 2003. It was published by Atari and developed by Sensory Sweep Studios, arriving during that era when portable systems were flooded with games based on popular anime. This one adapts the early parts of the series, covering Yusuke Urameshi's initial cases as a Spirit Detective before the narrative leads into the Dark Tournament saga.

You control Yusuke, moving him screen by screen through urban and supernatural environments. The main goal is to investigate disturbances, fight rogue demons, and recover stolen artifacts. Combat is a mix of simple brawling and using special spirit attacks mapped to button combinations. You explore areas, talk to characters for clues, and sometimes solve light environmental puzzles to progress. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some enemy encounters can feel repetitive after a while. Playing it gives you that specific feeling of a straightforward, mission based adventure from the early 2000s handheld library.
