Alright, so this is basically the Yu-Gi-Oh! GBA game where you start with a pretty weak starter deck—like, good luck beating Weevil’s insects with those cards—but the grind to build something decent is weirdly satisfying. You duel random NPCs in different areas, earn booster packs, and slowly piece together a deck that doesn’t completely suck.

The AI isn’t exactly genius-level, but some of the later duels actually make you think, especially if you’re trying to cheese your way through with early 2000s meta strats. And yeah, the card pool is limited compared to modern Yu-Gi-Oh!, but that kinda makes it more fun? No crazy 10-minute combo turns here—just classic summoning, trap cards, and hoping your opponent doesn’t have Mirror Force.

Also, the music slaps. That battle theme still lives in my head rent-free. If you’ve got a GBA or an emulator lying around, it’s a solid nostalgia trip with just enough challenge to keep you hooked.
