Yu-gi-oh! - Monster Capsule (japan) Game

Okay, so this is one of those weird early Yu-Gi-Oh! spin-offs that never left Japan—Monster Capsule GB plays more like a dungeon crawler than a card game. You roll these little gachapon-style capsules down maze-like floors, trying to land on monsters to recruit them. The pixel art’s actually pretty charming, especially for a Game Boy Color title.
At first I thought it was just a gimmick, but there’s some real strategy in lining up shots and managing your monster roster. The dungeons get surprisingly tough later on, and some of the rarer capsules are a pain to unlock. Definitely more of a collector’s oddity than a must-play, but if you’re into retro Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff, it’s a neat time capsule (no pun intended).
