Wizardry: Crusaders of the Dark Savant is a role-playing game released for MS-DOS in 1992 by Sir-tech Software, Inc. It is the seventh entry in the Wizardry series and a direct sequel to Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge. The game blends traditional fantasy with science fiction elements, continuing the narrative where the previous title concluded.

Players control a party of adventurers who travel to the planet Guardia in search of a powerful artifact called the Astral Dominae. The primary objective is to locate this artifact before several competing factions, such as the Umpani and the T'Rang, can secure it for themselves. Gameplay involves first-person exploration of towns, forest areas, and multi-level dungeons, combined with turn-based combat encounters. Progression is driven by navigating these environments, interacting with non-player characters who have their own goals and can move independently, and managing a party with various races, classes, and skills.

The game retains and expands upon systems from its predecessor, including a skill system where abilities like swimming, climbing, diplomacy, and mapping improve through use. Magic is organized into four distinct schools and six elemental categories. A notable addition is an automap feature, displayed on the exploration screen if a character learns the mapping skill. Text descriptions convey encounters, events, and party reactions, while player decisions, including potential betrayals of allied factions, can influence the course of the adventure.
