Okay, so Winx Club: Quest for the Codex is the second GBA game in the series, and honestly? It's a step up from the first one. You're still playing as Bloom and the gang, but this time there's more to do—you're hunting down pieces of the Codex while battling through different fairy realms.
The combat's simple but kinda satisfying, mixing magic attacks with some light platforming. I remember getting stuck a few times on the later levels because the puzzles actually make you think a little. And yeah, the sprite work is pretty nice for a GBA title—the transformations actually look cool when they kick in.
If you were into the show or just want a decent fairy-themed action game, this one's not bad at all. Just don't expect a deep RPG or anything.
