About Winx Club : Quest For The Codex
I picked up WinX Club: Quest for the Codex back when it came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2005. It was a Konami title, one of many tie-in games from that era trying to capture the audience of a popular show. The GBA library was full of these kinds of adventures, and this one fit right in, offering a portable quest for fans of the Winx characters.
You control Bloom, the main fairy, as she explores a series of locations screen by screen. The main goal is to find the scattered pieces of the Codex. You walk through environments like forests and castles, fighting monsters with a simple magic attack and solving block-pushing puzzles to open new paths. The pacing is straightforward, though some of the later puzzles can slow you down if you don't spot the solution right away. It feels like a compact, methodical adventure where you steadily chip away at your objective.
