Wario Land II came out for the Game Boy Color in 1998, developed and published by Nintendo. The main goal is to get your treasure back by exploring the castle and beyond, screen by screen, figuring out the environmental puzzles these transformations create. The pacing is methodical, more about observation and experimentation than quick reflexes. Playing it feels like outsmarting a series of clever, interactive traps.
