Wanko de Kururin Wancle is one of those weird, charming little GBA games that never left Japan—which is a shame, because it’s basically a chaotic dog-themed puzzle game with way more personality than it has any right to have. You control this round pup rolling through obstacle courses, trying not to tip over while knocking stuff around. The physics are janky in the best way, like when your doggo wobbles after hitting a wall and you’re just praying he doesn’t faceplant.
It starts simple—just push blocks, avoid spikes—but then suddenly you’re herding sheep or getting launched by springs, and the whole thing feels like someone took a dog’s dream and turned it into a game. The art’s super cute, all bright colors and exaggerated animations, and the music’s got that classic GBA bouncy energy. If you’re into quirky, short-burst puzzle games, this one’s a hidden gem. Just don’t blame me when you get weirdly invested in a virtual dog’s balance issues.
