About Wwf : Road To Wrestlemania
WWF: Road to WrestleMania came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Natsume. It was one of the early wrestling titles on the handheld, arriving when developers were still figuring out how to translate the spectacle of sports entertainment to a small screen. You pick a created wrestler and guide them from a rookie up through the ranks, with the ultimate goal of headlining WrestleMania itself.
You control your wrestler in a mix of side-scrolling exploration backstage and one-on-one matches. The main objective is to climb the card by winning fights and completing tasks, which often involves navigating different rooms to find specific people or items. Signature mechanics include a momentum bar you build during matches to unleash special moves, and a light RPG element where you earn attribute points to improve your character's stats. The pacing can be deliberate, with some backtracking through the arenas, and the difficulty spikes noticeably during certain rivalries.
