About Wwe : Survivor Series
I picked up WWE: Survivor Series for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004. It was developed by Natsume, a company known for other handheld titles. This was a time when wrestling games on the GBA were often simpler, sprite-based affairs compared to their console cousins, and this one fit right into that portable, pick-up-and-play niche.
You control a single WWE superstar, moving from screen to screen in a side-scrolling beat 'em up. The main goal is to fight through waves of generic opponents to reach the final boss. You have a basic attack button and a grapple for throws, along with a special meter that builds as you land hits; once full, you can unleash a signature move. The pacing is brisk, with enemies swarming you constantly, and the difficulty can feel unforgiving if you get cornered. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes repetitive brawler that captures the chaos of a wrestling free-for-all.
