You control Will, the leader, and can switch to Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, or Hay Lin to solve puzzles and fight. Your main goal is to stop the evil Prince Phobos from taking over Metamoor. The gameplay involves moving through levels screen by screen, using each girl's unique magic to overcome obstacles; Irma can manipulate water, for instance, while Cornelia controls earth. Combat is straightforward, relying on your basic energy projectiles and special attacks that drain your magic meter. The pacing is methodical, with some tricky platforming sections that require careful timing. It feels like a straightforward action game that faithfully follows the show's premise.
