Ultimate Spider-Man on GBA is one of those rare handheld gems that actually makes you feel like you're swinging through the city. The cel-shaded style holds up surprisingly well, giving it that comic book vibe straight from the pages. What's cool is you don't just play as Spidey - you get to switch to Venom and wreak havoc too, which feels completely different (and way more destructive).
First ten minutes? You're already web-slinging between rooftops, stopping random crimes, and getting into brawls with thugs who talk way too much trash for guys who get knocked out in two hits. The story's got that Brian Bendis touch too, so it actually feels like you're playing through a proper Spider-Man comic. Just don't expect the full open-world freedom of the console versions - this is the GBA after all, but they packed in way more than you'd think.
Honestly, it's still one of the better Spider-Man games you can play on the go.
