About Ultimate Brain Games
I picked up Ultimate Brain Games for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003. It was developed by Cosmigo, a name I saw on a few other puzzle titles for the handheld. This was during that era when the GBA library was absolutely packed with all kinds of games, and a solid puzzle collection was always a welcome thing to have in your pocket.
You don't control a character so much as you tackle a series of individual logic puzzles. The main objective is simply to solve each one, which involves moving blocks, drawing lines, or figuring out number sequences. The mechanics are straightforward; you use the D-pad to navigate menus and move puzzle pieces, and the A button to confirm your selections. The difficulty ramps up steadily, and some of the later puzzles require real patience and a lot of trial and error. It feels satisfying to finally crack a tough one after staring at the screen for a while.
