Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 3 - Night Of The Quinkan (u)(trashman) Game
📅 2005 ✍️ Krome Studios

Ty 3 picks up right where the last game left off, but this time the outback’s got a serious problem—Quinkans, these creepy shadow creatures, are popping up everywhere. You’re still playing as Ty, boomerang in hand, but now you’ve got new moves like wall-jumping and a weirdly satisfying slide attack. The levels feel bigger, too, with more hidden stuff tucked away if you’re willing to explore.
It’s got that same goofy charm as the first two games, but with a darker vibe thanks to the Quinkan enemies. Some of the platforming can be a little janky (this is a GBA game, after all), but tossing boomerangs at enemies never gets old. Also, no EA this time—Trashman took over publishing, which is kind of a fun trivia bit if you’re into that.
If you liked the earlier Ty games, this one’s worth a play, even if just to see how the series evolved.
