About Twin Series 7 : Twin Puzzle : Kisekae Wanko Ex And Nyaa
I picked up Twin Series 7: Twin Puzzle: Kisekae Wanko EX and Nyaa for the Game Boy Advance back in 2005. It was part of a budget compilation series from the Japanese publisher Starfish-SD, releasing late in the GBA's life when quirky, simple games were still common. You get two distinct puzzle games in one cartridge, which was a nice value for the price.
In the Wanko portion, you control a dog, and the goal is to guide it through single-screen puzzle rooms. You push blocks to clear paths and avoid obstacles, aiming to reach the exit. The Nyaa half has you doing similar tasks but with a cat, adding mechanics like jumping on platforms and manipulating objects with more precision. The puzzles start simple but gradually demand careful planning, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly. Playing it feels like a calm but engaging mental workout, perfect for short sessions.
