Trollz - Hair Affair is one of those weird little GBA games you stumble across and think, "Wait, this exists?" It's based on those colorful Troll dolls with the wild hair, but instead of just collecting them, you're styling their ridiculous manes in mini-games. Not gonna lie, it's oddly satisfying—like a weird mix of fashion and puzzle mechanics.

You start off picking your troll (of course, I went for the one with neon pink hair) and then jump into these timed challenges where you comb, braid, or accessorize their hair before time runs out. The controls are simple, but some of the later levels actually get kinda tricky. Who knew styling troll hair could be stressful?

It’s definitely niche, but if you’re into quirky handheld games or just want something different, this one’s a fun little time-waster. The music’s catchy, too—in a repetitive, GBA-era way.
