About Tringo (u)(trashman)
Tringo is a puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance, released in 2000. It was developed by Nintendo and published by them as well. This was a time when the GBA library was just starting to grow, offering a mix of established franchises and new experiments in portable gaming.
You control a cursor on a grid, aiming to form complete lines by placing falling tetromino-like blocks. The main objective is to clear as many lines as possible before the grid fills up. Signature mechanics include a race against a constantly rising trash line and the ability to earn power-ups that temporarily halt the rising garbage or clear multiple rows at once.
