Trick Star Game

Okay, so Trick Star on the GBA is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little spaceship dodging stuff—but then suddenly you're sweating over pixel-perfect maneuvers. The controls are tight, which is good because some of those later levels throw so much at you that you'll be weaving through lasers and asteroids like you're threading a needle.
It’s got that classic arcade feel where you’ll replay the same stretch five times, muttering "just one more try," until you nail it. The retro art style holds up, too—bright colors, chunky sprites, and this weirdly satisfying "pew pew" sound when you shoot. Not gonna lie, the puzzles get pretty clever later on, like having to time your shots to hit switches while dodging enemy fire.
If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school space shooters with a puzzle twist, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time.
