Remember that old Toy Story 2 game for Game Boy Color? You play as Buzz Lightyear jumping through movie-inspired levels to rescue Woody. It's got that classic 90s platformer feel—some tricky jumps, a few hidden areas, and those annoying enemies that always seem to pop up at the worst time. The graphics actually hold up pretty well for a GBC title, with Buzz's purple spacesuit looking surprisingly crisp on that tiny screen.
What I like is how it mixes up the gameplay—one minute you're platforming through Andy's house, the next you're in a weird top-down section dodging toys in Al's apartment. The controls take a minute to get used to (why does Buzz slide so much when he stops running?), but once it clicks, it's a solid little adventure. Just don't expect it to be as polished as the console versions—this is pure handheld nostalgia.
