Totally Spies! 2 - Undercover is one of those early 2000s GBA games that feels like a time capsule—bright colors, cheesy spy gadgets, and way more attitude than you'd expect from a handheld. You play as Sam, Clover, or Alex (I always went with Sam because she had the best hair), sneaking through missions with a mix of platforming and light puzzle-solving.
The first level throws you right into a mall infiltration, dodging lasers and using lipstick tasers—because of course spies in this universe weaponize cosmetics. The controls are simple, but some of the jumps can be weirdly precise, especially when you're trying to avoid guards. The art style nails the cartoon's vibe, though, with exaggerated animations and those iconic pink-and-green spy suits.
It's not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the show or just want something unapologetically silly, it's a fun little nostalgia trip. Just don't expect a challenge until the later levels.
