Tony Hawk's Underground & Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer (u)(rising Sun) Game

Okay, so this is one of those weird GBA mashups where they crammed two totally different extreme sports games into one cart—Tony Hawk’s Underground and Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer. The skating side feels like a stripped-down version of the console games, but it’s still got that classic Tony Hawk flow once you get used to the tiny screen. Grinding phone booths in New Jersey never looked so pixelated.
The surfing half? Honestly, it’s janky but kinda charming. Trying to pull off tricks with waves that look like jagged blue triangles makes you appreciate how hard it was to translate water physics to the GBA. Stick with it though, and you’ll start nailing those cutbacks like it’s 2003 all over again.
Definitely a nostalgia trip if you remember playing this on long car rides with that dim frontlight.
