Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on GBA is one of those handheld ports that somehow works way better than it should. The controls are tight, the tricks feel surprisingly smooth, and they even squeezed in most of the classic levels from the console version. You'll ollie over picnic tables in Canada or grind the hell out of that LA airport level—just don't expect the graphics to blow you away.
What's wild is how they managed to keep the combo system intact. Chaining manuals into kickflips still feels satisfying, even on that tiny screen. The soundtrack's stripped down to chiptune versions of the original tracks, but honestly? It kinda slaps. If you're stuck somewhere with just a GBA and need that THPS fix, this one's got your back.
It's not perfect, but it's way more fun than a skateboarding game on a handheld has any right to be.
