I picked up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002. It was developed by Vicarious Visions, a studio that did a lot of the handheld versions. For a GBA game from that era, it was a solid attempt to bring the console skateboarding experience onto a small screen.

You control a pro skater, like Tony Hawk or Bob Burnquist, and your main goal is to complete objectives within two-minute runs. You ollie, grind rails, and pull off tricks like kickflips and heelflips to build your score. Two key mechanics are the manual, which lets you link tricks together for huge combos, and finding the hidden SKATE letters in each level. The game moves quickly, and some of the later goals get pretty tough to nail down. It feels surprisingly fluid to play, capturing that rush of stringing together a perfect line before the timer runs out.
