Okay, so Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 on GBA—look, it’s not the best version of the game, but if you’re stuck on a long car ride and need some half-pipe action, it’ll do. The controls are a little stiff compared to the console versions, but hey, you can still pull off manuals and string together combos if you’re patient. The levels are scaled-down versions of the classics, and yeah, creating your own skater is kinda fun, even if the customization is basic. Just don’t expect it to feel as smooth as the PS1 original.
It’s got that classic THPS vibe, just in a way that makes you wish you were playing it on a bigger screen.
