Okay, so Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword on Game Boy Color is... an interesting one. It’s not the classic 3D Lara Croft adventure—instead, it’s a side-scroller with some light RPG elements. You’ve got swords, traps, and a cursed artifact (of course), but the controls take a minute to get used to. Jumping feels a little stiff at first, but once you adjust, swinging at skeletons and dodging spikes becomes weirdly satisfying.
Weirdest part? Lara doesn’t even have her signature dual pistols here—just a sword and some throwing knives. It’s definitely a different vibe, but if you’re into retro platformers with a bit of puzzle-solving, it’s got its charm. Just don’t expect the same experience as the PlayStation games.
