So, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on the GBA—yeah, the first one. You play as Sam Fisher, this NSA black-ops guy who sneaks into places so dark and heavily guarded you’ll spend half the time squinting at your screen. The pixel art somehow makes shadows feel tense, and you’ll actually catch yourself holding your breath when guards walk past.
It’s not just hiding, though. You’ve got gadgets, silenced pistols, and this weird satisfaction when you knock someone out without alerting the whole base. Mess up, and it’s instant alarms, swarming enemies, and probably a quick reload. The GBA version’s surprisingly solid for a handheld port—just don’t expect the lighting tricks from the console versions.
If you’ve got the patience for slow, methodical creeping, it’s a great way to kill time on a bus ride.
