Tom and Jerry in Mouse Attacks is one of those classic Game Boy Color games that feels exactly like the cartoons—chaotic, fast, and full of slapstick. You mostly play as Jerry (or sometimes Tom, depending on the level), running through house stages, dodging traps, and causing all kinds of mischief. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, and the music nails that old-school cartoon vibe.
Some levels have you setting up ridiculous Rube Goldberg-style traps, while others are straight-up chases. It’s not super deep, but it’s got that quick, pick-up-and-play energy where you’ll retry a level just to see if you can outsmart Tom in a different way. The controls are simple, though the jumping can feel a little floaty at first—took me a few tries to get the timing right.
If you grew up with the cartoons, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—it’s pure, silly arcade-style fun.
