Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring is one of those GBA games that feels like a Saturday morning cartoon—if you’re into that classic chase dynamic, it’s got plenty of it. You switch between Tom and Jerry, each with their own moves (Jerry’s tiny and quick, Tom’s got reach but clunks around a bit). The levels are based on the movie, so expect a mix of platforming and slapstick chaos—like dodging mousetraps or chucking random objects at each other.
It’s not super deep, but the animation’s surprisingly smooth for a GBA title, and the music nails that old-school Looney Tunes vibe. If you’ve got nostalgia for the cat-and-mouse duo, it’s a decent little time-waster. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
