I picked up Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Saves the Day for my Game Boy Color back in 2001. It was developed by Warthog and published by Conspiracy Entertainment, a title that fit right in with the platform's library of cartoon licensed games. You saw a lot of these kinds of side-scrollers back then, colorful and straightforward adventures based on popular shows.

You control Buster Bunny through a series of themed worlds, each split into separate, screen-by-screen levels. Your main goal is to rescue your friends, who are trapped in portraits scattered around the stages. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping across platforms and using a spin attack to defeat enemies like weasels and other Acme Acres nuisances. You also collect carrots, which act as both health and a currency for continuing your game after you lose a life. The levels are generally short, but some of the enemy placements and jumps require precise timing, which can be tricky.
