I picked up Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Stackers for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002. It was a Konami release, one of those many licensed titles that filled the handheld's library during its early years. The game didn't try to be a big adventure; it was a straightforward puzzle experience featuring the familiar cartoon characters.

You control Buster Bunny, moving him left and right at the bottom of the screen. Your main job is to catch falling blocks, which are shaped like the other Tiny Toons, and stack them into complete rows. The signature mechanics involve matching three identical character blocks in a row to clear them, and you can also use special items that appear, like a magnet to pull blocks or a bomb to clear a chunk of the stack. The pacing starts deceptively simple but the blocks fall faster as you progress, creating a genuine scramble to keep your tower from hitting the top. It feels like a frantic race against a rising tide of cartoon faces.
