About Thunderbirds
Thunderbirds on the Game Boy Color came out in 2000 from Rage Software. It was part of that wave of licensed games on the handheld, trying to capture the look of the classic show. You don't see many people talking about it now, but it was there on the shelf alongside the Pokemon and Zelda games of the era.
You control the Tracy brothers, switching between them to use their unique vehicles like Thunderbird 1 and 2. The main goal is to stop the Hood's plans across a series of missions. Gameplay involves navigating side-on platforming sections, solving simple environmental puzzles, and engaging in combat with guards. The pace is methodical, and some of the platforming can be quite precise, demanding careful jumps. It feels like a straightforward mission-based game from that time, where you are just working through the objectives one screen at a time.
