About Three-in-one Pack : Risk Battleship Clue

I picked up Three-in-One Pack: Risk Battleship Clue for the Game Boy Advance back when it was new. It was one of those compilation cartridges that bundled three classic board game adaptations into a single, portable format. The publisher, Destination Software, released it in 2005, a time when the GBA library was filled with these kinds of multi-game collections. It was a straightforward way to get several different experiences without needing to swap carts.

You don't control a single character; instead, you manage the rules and flow of each board game against either a computer opponent or a friend via link cable. In Risk, you deploy armies and conquer territories on a world map. Battleship has you secretly placing your fleet and calling out grid coordinates to sink the enemy's ships. Clue tasks you with moving from room to room, making accusations to deduce the murderer, weapon, and location. The pacing varies; Risk is a long, strategic campaign, while Battleship and Clue are much quicker, tense affairs. The difficulty largely depends on the AI's cunning, which can be surprisingly sharp in Risk. It feels like having a pocket-sized game night ready to go whenever you have a few minutes to spare.
