Okay, so The Simpsons: Road Rage on GBA is basically Crazy Taxi but with Springfield’s finest. You pick any of the main Simpsons (or side characters—Apu’s weirdly fast?) and just start hauling passengers around town. The controls are simple—hit the gas, drift around corners, try not to wreck Homer’s car for the fifth time.
At first, it feels a little barebones compared to the console versions, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about dropping off a passenger at Moe’s while dodging traffic. The landmarks are all there—Krusty Burger, the Nuclear Plant, even the Springfield sign—and the missions get progressively more chaotic. One minute you’re racing against time, the next you’re being chased by Chief Wiggum.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you ever wanted to hear Barney belch while you run over a mailbox, this delivers. Just don’t expect the graphics to blow you away—it’s a GBA port, after all. Still, it’s a solid time-killer for Simpsons fans who miss the early 2000s vibe.
