The Simpsons - Bart Vs. The World Game

Alright, so The Simpsons: Bart vs. The World is one of those old-school Sega Master System games that feels like a weird, slightly janky cartoon episode. You play as Bart, obviously, and the whole thing is basically a globe-trotting sidescroller where you jump over stuff, throw slingshots at random enemies, and collect… I dunno, Bart heads? Classic '80s logic.
First level’s Australia, because why not, and you’re immediately dodging kangaroos that bounce at you like they’ve got a personal grudge. Then it’s off to Japan for some ninjas who move in that stiff, predictable way old game enemies do. The graphics are bright and cartoony, but don’t expect smooth animations—this is peak pixelated Simpsons, back when Homer’s sprite looked like a yellow rectangle with a beard.
Weirdly, the game throws in these weird bonus rounds where you skateboard or play mini-games, and half the time you’re just mashing buttons hoping something works. The music’s catchy in that repetitive 8-bit way, and yeah, you’ll recognize a few characters popping up, but mostly it’s just Bart vs. the world, exactly like the title says. Not deep, but kinda charming if you’re into retro nonsense.
