The Ripping Friends Game

Okay, so The Ripping Friends on GBA is basically what happens if someone took a Saturday morning cartoon, pumped it full of energy drinks, and crammed it into a tiny cartridge. You play as these absurdly muscular superheroes—like, their biceps have biceps—and just wreck everything in sight. The first level throws you right into smashing weird mutant frogs or something while the game yells catchphrases at you. Classic early 2000s chaos.
It’s got that janky-but-charming GBA beat-em-up feel where you’ll accidentally punch through walls half the time, and the humor’s so dumb it loops back to being funny. Not gonna lie, the controls take a second to click (why does jumping feel like you’re wearing concrete shoes?), but once you’re tossing bad guys into the stratosphere, it’s stupidly satisfying. Definitely a "play with the sound up and zero expectations" kind of game.
If you remember the cartoon or just want to see a game where a guy named "Chunk" headbutts a robot shark, this is your jam.
