About The Powerpuff Girls : Mojo Jojo A-go-go
I picked up The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001. It was developed by Saffire and published by BAM! Entertainment, a title that fit right in with the handheld's library of cartoon and movie tie-ins. At the time, it was just another colorful game based on a popular show, something you'd play between the bigger releases.
You control Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, switching between them on the fly to use their unique abilities. The main goal is to stop Mojo Jojo's latest scheme by fighting through his robot army across Townsville. You move screen by screen, punching and kicking enemies, and each girl has a special move, like Bubbles' sonic scream, to handle specific obstacles. The game is a straightforward beat 'em up, but it can get surprisingly difficult with the number of enemies it throws at you later on. It feels like a quick, energetic brawl that captures the show's frantic action.
