You control Rick O'Connell, moving through ancient Egyptian ruins and fighting off undead creatures. Your main goal is to stop the Mummy Imhotep from unleashing chaos. The gameplay involves screen by screen exploration, using a sword for close combat and a whip for hitting enemies from a distance. You also solve simple environmental puzzles, like pushing blocks to open new paths. The pacing is fairly quick, but some sections can be tricky with precise jumps and enemy patterns.
