Okay, so The Mummy on GBA is basically that early 2000s action-adventure vibe in your pocket. You start off in some dusty tomb—of course—swinging your sword at scarab beetles and dodging spike traps like an archaeologist with terrible luck. The controls are simple, but those mummy enemies? They don’t mess around.
What I like is how it nails that pulpy adventure feel. One minute you’re deciphering hieroglyphs, the next you’re sprinting from a rolling boulder. It’s not super deep, but the pacing keeps you moving, and the sprite work has that chunky GBA charm. Just don’t expect Oscar-writing—half the fun is the campy "ancient evil awakens" schtick.
If you’ve got a soft spot for Indiana Jones knockoffs or just want something quick between bus stops, this one’s a solid time-waster. Watch out for the sarcophagus jumpscares, though.
