So The Lost Vikings is this weird little GBA gem where you control three kidnapped vikings—Olaf with his shield, Baleog with his sword, and Erik the speedy one—trying to escape an alien spaceship. At first it seems simple, but the puzzles get sneaky fast. You’ll be switching between them constantly, using Olaf to block lasers, Erik to jump gaps, and Baleog to... well, mostly to hit things.

What’s cool is how their abilities actually matter—like, you can’t just brute-force your way through. Some levels feel impossible until you realize you need to stack them in a specific order or time a shield block just right. The alien backgrounds are surprisingly detailed for a GBA game, too, all neon corridors and weird machinery.

It’s one of those games where dying a lot is part of the fun—you’ll definitely yeet Erik into a pit by accident more than once. The humor’s cheesy in that 90s way, but it works. If you like puzzle-platformers that make you think (and occasionally swear), this one’s a blast.
