Oh man, The Lost Vikings on GBA takes me back. You control these three goofy Vikings—Erik runs fast, Baleog swings a sword, and Olaf blocks stuff with his shield—and you gotta swap between them to solve puzzles. At first I kept forgetting who did what, but after a few levels it clicks.

The real charm is how their personalities come through in little animations and dialogue. Olaf’s just happy to be here, Baleog’s always complaining, and Erik? That guy’s got energy for days. Some puzzles feel impossible until you realize you needed to use all three in the right order—like having Olaf shield-jump to block lasers so Erik can sprint past.

It’s got that old-school vibe where the challenge is real but fair, and the pixel art holds up surprisingly well on the small screen. Just don’t be surprised if you mutter “wait, how did I not see that?” a few times.
