Okay, so The Lion King on GBA is basically your childhood movie turned into a surprisingly decent platformer. You start off as little Simba bouncing around the Pride Lands, and yeah—it nails that nostalgic Disney vibe with the music and visuals. The first level’s all about learning to pounce on bugs and avoid hyenas, which sounds simple until you realize the controls take some getting used to.
Some levels stick close to the movie, like the stampede scene (still stressful), while others throw in weird platforming challenges that feel a bit tacked on. The art’s colorful for a GBA game, though, and the soundtrack? Instant flashbacks. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—some jumps are brutal, and those monkey puzzles? Took me way too many tries.
If you grew up with the film or just want a solid (if occasionally frustrating) platformer, this one’s worth dusting off your GBA for.
