The Flash Game

Okay, so The Flash on Sega Master System is basically you playing as Barry Allen, sprinting through Central City at ridiculous speeds—like, actually ridiculous, because the screen scrolls so fast you’ll occasionally faceplant into a wall you didn’t see coming. Classic 8-bit chaos.
You’re mostly punching thugs, dodging obstacles, and occasionally racing against the clock in these weirdly satisfying time trials. The controls take a second to get used to—turns out stopping on a dime when you’re the fastest man alive isn’t easy—but once it clicks, zipping around feels pretty great. Also, the sprite work? Surprisingly slick for the era, especially when Flash does that little speed trail thing.
It’s short, kinda janky in places, but if you’re into retro superhero games, it’s got this cheesy charm that makes it hard to hate. Just don’t expect a deep story—you’re here to go fast and punch bad guys, and it delivers exactly that.
