The Berenstain Bears And The Spooky Old Tree (u)(trashman) Game

Okay, so this is one of those weird little GBA gems based on the Berenstain Bears books—you know, the family of cartoon bears? It’s basically a short, spooky-ish adventure where you play as the three cubs sneaking out at night to explore this creepy old tree in the woods. The vibe is more "mildly unsettling for kids" than actually scary, but the music and dim lighting give it a fun eerie feel.
Gameplay’s simple—you switch between the cubs to solve basic puzzles (like moving logs or finding keys) while avoiding owls and other forest hazards. Sister Bear can jump higher, Brother’s the strong one… you get the idea. It’s short, kinda janky in that early 2000s handheld way, but weirdly charming if you’re into odd licensed games. The whole thing feels like playing a lost episode of the cartoon.
Honestly, it’s more nostalgic than good, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t smile at the pixel art versions of those goofy bear faces.
