Remember those Berenstain Bears books from when you were a kid? This GBA game feels like stepping right into one of them—specifically the one where they explore that creepy tree. You play as Brother, Sister, and Papa Bear, taking turns switching between them to crawl through tunnels, push boulders around, and dodge bats in these dimly lit caves. The art style nails the book illustrations, all bright colors and chunky lines.
It’s not super hard, but some of the puzzles make you stop and think—like figuring out which bear’s ability gets you past a certain obstacle (Papa can move heavy stuff, Sister’s small enough to squeeze through gaps, etc.). The music’s got that slightly eerie vibe that makes stumbling into a new chamber actually feel a little tense, even though you know nothing truly scary’s gonna happen. If you grew up with these characters, it’s a weirdly cozy nostalgia trip.
Just don’t expect some deep platformer—it’s short, sweet, and exactly what you’d want from a Berenstain Bears game.
