Okay, so The Bee Game is way more fun than I expected. You play as this little bee zipping around flower fields, dodging spiderwebs and raindrops while trying to grab pollen—kinda like a tiny, winged platformer. The controls are simple (just jump and dash, really), but some of those later levels get sneaky with wasps and sudden gusts of wind.
What I love is how it feels like an old GBA game—bright colors, chunky sprites, that satisfying *blip* when you land on a sunflower. And yeah, saving the hive sounds dramatic, but mostly you’re just trying not to faceplant into a frog’s tongue. Classic stuff.
If you miss that era of handheld games where everything was either adorable or slightly janky (or both), this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the meadow theme for hours.
