Tekken Advance on the GBA is a surprisingly solid little fighter—like someone squeezed the arcade version into your pocket. You’ve got Paul’s ridiculous hair, King’s jaguar mask, and all the usual suspects throwing punches in chunky-but-charming pixel form. The combos actually feel decent once you get used to the tiny buttons, though good luck pulling off anything fancy without cramping your thumbs.
Single-player’s your standard arcade ladder, but the real fun is linking up with a friend for some backseat brawls. Graphics are bright and punchy for a GBA game, though don’t expect PS2-level detail—just enough to tell when Heihachi’s about to wreck you. It’s not perfect, but for a handheld Tekken fix? Still holds up better than it should.
