Teddy Boy Blues (japan) (proto) (ep-mycard) Game

Ever heard of Teddy Boy Blues? It’s this weird little proto from the Sega Master System days—Japan-only, never officially released. You play as this kid in a teddy bear suit (or maybe it’s just a weird bear?) running and jumping through these surreal, pastel-colored stages. The controls are a bit stiff, like a lot of early platformers, but there’s something oddly charming about the whole thing.
First level throws you into this dreamlike city with floating platforms and enemies that look like rejected toy designs. The music’s got that classic FM synth jingle, equal parts catchy and slightly off. It’s short, kinda janky, but if you’re into obscure retro curios, it’s a neat peek at what could’ve been. Definitely one for the "weird Sega history" folder.
