About Tarzan : Rueckkehr In Den Dschungel
I picked up Tarzan: Rueckkehr In Den Dschungel for the Game Boy Advance back when it came out. It was a Disney Interactive title, one of many licensed games from that period. The GBA library was full of these kinds of side-scrolling adventures, and this one fit right in.
You control Tarzan, swinging through the jungle on vines and climbing up walls. Your main goal is to navigate the levels, rescuing friends and dealing with the animals and hunters that get in your way. The gameplay involves a lot of vine swinging to cross gaps, along with simple combat where you punch or slide into enemies. You also collect tokens scattered throughout the stages. The levels are linear but require some timing, especially with the swinging, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later areas. It feels like a straightforward, physical run through a familiar world.
